my plan for summer vacationthe longing summer vacation is approaching, it is the best part of the school year for me. i cannot let the holidays elapse (逝去) meaninglessly, my vacation should be a phase (时期、阶段) of harvest. the events in my plan should give me a sense of infinite potential.

the following plan may reveal the intensity of my desire to travel, work and study in this vacation. in the first few days i want to climb mount hua shan with several friends to refresh ourselves. then i tend to visit relatives, senior school teachers and former classmates(老同学). besides, to find out the best ways to cultivate my abilities, i will find a part time job and conduct some social investigation.

in short, i want to do interesting things in the summer vacation. whatever i do, the goal is the same: to get necessary experience, acquire knowledge and broaden my horizons. though the six week vacation will pass away at lightning speed, its influence is bound to last long.

英语课时，我们学了人体五官，吴老师突发奇想――让我们画五官。

吴老师拿着纸走进教室，嘴角微微一笑，说：“把这……”还没说完，小组长已经开始发了。同学们拿到纸，吴老师见我们一脸茫然，便兴致勃勃地说：“你们要在它们的脸上 画五官，可以任意发挥!”

“噢!知道了!”我拿着笔就刷刷画过去了，一抬头，见许多人没画好，又给小女孩添上弯弯的眉毛、弯弯的嘴角，形成一个笑脸，然后又画了两个马尾辫……我再次抬起头时，组长开始收画纸了。

接着，吴老师开始展示我们的作品，真是千奇百怪：有的是憨厚可爱的小猪，有的'是美如神仙的小姑娘，还有的是尾巴长长可爱的猴子……“哈哈!哈哈!”所有同学哄堂大笑。原来是有一位同学把小水滴的头上画了小辫子，眼睛睁一只闭一只，鼻子长长的，尖尖的，像一把小刀，嘴巴张的老大了，都可以塞下一个西瓜了!口水垂涎三尺的滑稽样子让我们忍不住哈哈大笑起来。吴老师也笑得合不拢嘴，连在旁边批作业的田老师也笑成了一朵花。我后面的同学徐阳自豪地宣布：“这是我画的!”

这次作业实在是太有趣了，原来做作业也是有创意的。真希望多一点这样的作业。

on new year's day, the chinese family will eat a vegetarian dish called jai. although the various ingredients in jai are root vegetables or fibrous vegetables, many people attribute various superstitious aspects to them.

other foods include a whole fish, to represent togetherness and abundance, and a chicken for prosperity. the chicken must be presented with a head, tail and feet to symbolize completeness. noodles should be uncut, as they represent long life.

in south china, the favorite and most typical dishes were nian gao, sweet steamed glutinous rice（糯米）pudding and zong zi

(glutinous rice wrapped up in reed（芦苇）leaves), another popular delicacy.

in the north, steamed-wheat bread (man tou) and small meat dumplings were the preferred food. the tremendous amount of food

prepared at this time was meant to symbolize abundance and wealth for the household.

We now have 10 students, all in senior one.Only two of them are girls.In the first ten dans,I taught all the four subjects ,in the moring and in the afternoon.I felt a little tired.But in the depth of my heart, I was so happy that I struggled myself out of the lonely and blue days.Believe life,believe our future.We need to do as much as we can to build a meaningful and wondful life,our short life.
